Board Appointment

Blue Star Capital PLC (AIM: BLU), the investment company, announces the appointment of Dr Richard Leaver to the Board of Directors.

Dr Leaver, BSc, PhD, MBA, CEng., MIET, MIEEE, is the Chief Executive and co-founder of the PegasusBridge group of companies including PegasusBridge Fund Management Limited, a Guernsey fund manager specialising in Homeland Security based investments, its UK investment adviser PegasusBridge Fund Management LLP and The PegasusBridge Defence & Security Fund Limited in which the Company has invested £800,000 to date.

Haresh Kanabar, the Company's Chief Executive commented:

'We are delighted that Dr Leaver is joining the Board in line with our strategy that we set out in our Interim Accounts. Dr Leaver brings a wealth of talent and experience in the Homeland Security Industry, a sector that we believe offers real growth potential for the Company.'
