Peninsular Gold announces that Bridge Fund SPC Limited (Bridge Global Opportunities Fund Segregated Portfolio) acquired 2,380,952 ordinary shares in the Company on 30th May 2008. This represented 4.65% of the issued share capital of 51,230,978 ordinary shares in the Company. The holding was acquired in the recent placing of new ordinary shares at 42 pence per share, announced on 30th May 2008.
