TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Nichols plc 
(the 'Company') notifies the market of the following:

Nichols plc's issued share capital consists of 36,968,772 ordinary shares with a
nominal value of 10p each in the Company with voting rights ('Ordinary Shares').
Nichols plc holds 109,380 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Nichols plc is 36,859,392 (the
'Figure').

The Figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in,
or a change to their interest in, Nichols plc.
