Metorex Limited ("Metorex") acquires additional interest in Copper Resources
Corporation ("CRC")

 

30 April 2008 - Metorex, the diversified mining group listed on the JSE
Limited, is pleased to inform its shareholders that it has acquired a further 4
304 600 CRC shares in exchange for 5 268 830 new Metorex shares taking its
effective interest to 50.27% from its previous 45.3%.

 

Charles Needham, Managing Director of Metorex said, "Metorex is pleased to have
increased its economic interest in CRC given the exciting potential of that
company's projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  This transaction
allows Metorex to continue in an orderly environment to realise value for
shareholders through its current efforts and activities in bringing these CRC
projects into production in the DRC."
