E.ON statement re British Energy


E.ON notes the report in Financial Times Deutschland newspaper dated 16 April 2008 
citing a spokesman for E.ON in relation to its potential interest in British Energy.  
E.ON wishes to clarify that the reported statement is incorrect and was not approved 
by the board of E.ON. E.ON accordingly retracts the statement.
