                     Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Coe Group plc, the developer and supplier of advanced video surveillance
systems, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Anton Elsborg to the Board
as non-executive director.

From 1998 to 2001, Anton was the president of Textron Power Transmission
Division, Textron Inc. From 1990 to 1998, he was the Finance Director of David
Brown Group Plc until its sale to Textron Inc in 1998. Anton has extensive
experience in the engineering sector, has a comprehensive financial and
accounting background and also has experience of organisational transformation
and restructuring. He is a qualified A.C.M.A.
