                Change of name to Berkeley Mineral Resources plc

At the Company's general meeting held on 29 February 2008, a resolution was
passed to change the name of the Company to Berkeley Mineral Resources plc.

The change of name has now been effected and will change with effect from close
of business today. The TIDM of the Company will also change to 'BMR' with effect
from the same date.
