Alba Mineral Resources Plc ('Alba' or the 'Company')

Holding in Company



The Company received notification from Regency Mines plc ('Regency') that it had
acquired 2,059,047 ordinary shares and 1,750,000 warrants in the Company for a
consideration of £51,991.95.



Following the acquisition noted above Regency has an interest over 11,434,047
ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 13.0 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.



Furthermore as previously disclosed, Red Rock Resources plc* an affiliate of
Regency Mines plc has an interest over 2,900,000 ordinary shares in the Company
representing approximately 3.3 per cent of the issued share capital.




* Michael Nott, a director of Alba, is also a director of Red Rock Resources Plc.
