                   DISPOSAL OF INTEREST IN HIDEFIELD GOLD PLC




Brazilian Diamonds Limited ('Brazilian Diamonds' or the 'Company') announces
that Hamilton Capital Partners Limited ('Hamilton'), a company with which
Kenneth Judge, the Chairman of the Company, is associated, has today exercised
part of its option to purchase ordinary shares in Hidefield Gold plc ('Hidefield
') held by BSG Investments Inc. ('BSG'), a wholly owned subsidiary of Brazilian
Diamonds.  Hamilton has acquired 5,000,000 ordinary shares from BSG at price of
6p per share for a total consideration of £300,000.  Hamilton has the option to
purchase a further 6,125,000 ordinary shares in Hidefield held by BSG on or
before January 25, 2008.

Following this transaction, Brazilian Diamonds, through its subsidiary BSG,
holds an interest in 9,625,000 ordinary shares in Hidefield, representing 3.49
per cent of the issued share capital.
