                                 BOARD CHANGES


Nichols plc, the soft drinks group, announces Mr John Nichols (currently
Executive Chairman) and Mr Brendan Hynes (currently Finance Director) will be
changing their Board roles.


Brendan Hynes

The Board is delighted to announce that with immediate effect Brendan has been
appointed as the Group's Chief Executive.   Brendan joined the Board of Nichols
plc as Group Finance Director in 2002, having previously been Group Finance
Director of William Baird plc and KPS plc.

The Board has already commenced the process to recruit a new Group Finance
Director.

The Board is also pleased to report it has accepted John's request to move from
Executive Chairman to Non-executive Chairman of the PLC Board.

John will remain as Executive Chairman until a new Finance Director has been
appointed and both he and Brendan have settled into their new roles. This is
likely to be early in 2008.


Commenting John Nichols, Chairman, said:

over the last four years and his knowledge, drive and experience will be a great
asset in leading the business into the next stage of its development and growth.
