               Appointment of non-executive Finance Director



SpaceandPeople is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Chadwick as
non-executive Finance Director at SpaceandPeople.



After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Richard went to Montreal with KPMG
where he specialised in retailing. Moving back to the UK after 5 years, he
joined J Sainsbury plc where he has remained for the last 27 years and held many
senior finance positions including Director of Business Development, Director of
Corporate Finance and Director of Audit & Risk.



He was responsible for the launch of Sainsbury's Bank in 1997 and was Deputy
Chief Executive for 3 years.



He was on the board of Shaw's Supermarkets in the US and JS Developments in the
UK prior to their sale by Sainsbury's. He remains a trustee of their pension
funds.
