Alba Mineral Resources Plc ('Alba' or the 'Company')

Trading update





Further to the announcement 30 August 2007 the board of the Company is
continuing to seek additional funding.  A number of proposals are currently
being considered.



As previously announced the Company has downgraded active fieldwork exploration
on the existing licences and permits, furthermore to alleviate the current
working capital shortfall the directors have deferred payment of their salaries
and fees until such time as further funds have been raised by the Company.
