                            Directors' Shareholdings

Cains has been notified that Roy Morris, the Company's non-executive Chairman,
yesterday purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 15.50
pence per ordinary share.  Following this purchase Roy Morris has a beneficial
interest in 625,000 ordinary shares of the Company, representing 0.41 per cent.
of the issued share capital.
