of Members/ Transfer Book etc., for the purpose of the Bank's ensuing Annual
General Meeting (AGM), proposed to be held on 24th September, 2007 and for
determining the shareholders who are entitled to receive Dividend, if declared
in the AGM, for the year ended on 31st March, 2007, is as follows :

 Date of Book Closure : From 21st August, 2007 to 22nd August, 2007, both days
                        inclusive (for a period 2 days)

Kindly note that this notice is given to you as per the Listing Agreement
entered into by us with the Stock Exchanges.
