Hardy Amies plc ('Hardy Amies' or 'the Company')

APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND COMPANY SECRETARY

John Heath, aged 49, has agreed to join the Board of Hardy Amies as a non-executive director to provide retail support 
and expertise.  He is currently Chief Executive of the Scottish based Cruise fashion chain.  Formerly he was Managing 
Director of fashion chain USC and prior to this he was National Sales Manager at Next.

John is currently a director of the following companies:

Mantic Retail Limited
Cruise (Holdings) Limited
Cruise (Glasgow) Limited
Lanepost limited
Jim Cruise Limited
Ingram Retail Limited

In the last five years he was formerly a director of USC Group Limited. There are no further disclosures required to be 
made in relation to him pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules.

David Beech resigned as a director and company secretary of Hardy Amies on 25 June 2007. John Heath will replace him as 
a director and Nigel Brunning has been appointed as company secretary.
