RESULTS OF RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS OFFER ('RIGHTS OFFER')



The Directors of NMBZ Holdings Limited ('Directors') are pleased to advise the
results of the Rights Offer as follows:


Total number of Rights Offer Shares offered                                                        688 369 778
Number of Rights Offer Shares taken up                                                             678 872 961
Percentage subscription                                                                                 98.62%



The remaining Rights Offer Shares not subscribed for were taken up by the
Underwriter, Old Mutual Life Assurance Company Zimbabwe Limited.



The Rights Offer Shares are to be listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange with
effect from Monday 4 September 2006 and share certificates in respect of the new
Rights Offer Shares will be posted to shareholders from Monday 4 September 2006.



The Directors would like to express their appreciation with respect to the
commitment demonstrated by both NMBZ Shareholders and the Underwriter for
success of the Rights Offer.
