Daiwa Securities Group Inc. (hereinafter 'The Company') amends its
non-consolidated financial summary for fiscal year ended March 31, 2006 as
follows. There is no effect on operating results for the year due to this
amendment.
1. Items to be amended
The Company amends the figures of 'subsidiary' and 'affiliated company' under
the heading of 'Note to securities' on page 27 of the financial summary. All
corrections should be indicated in underlined.
